Who it is for

Every place where cyclists stop

  • Hotels and guesthouses

Guests with e-bikes choose accommodation where they can charge safely – without carrying batteries to their room.

  • Restaurants and cafés

Lunch or a coffee takes exactly as long as a top-up. A quick stop turns into a longer visit.

  • Campsites and holiday parks

An outdoor station for the whole season. Lend cables at reception and guests set off in the morning with a full battery.

  • Towns, tourist offices and destinations

Charging points connect the region's cycle routes and bring visitors to local businesses.

Visitors

A stop that pays off for you and your guests

An e-bike lets people ride further and up into the hills. Those who cover more kilometres need to recharge on the way – and they choose places where that is easy and safe.

  • Longer stays, higher spendingWhile charging, guests order food, stay the night or explore the area.
  • Fast charging up to 420 WOn the fast output a bike charges up to 5× faster than with a standard charger. An advantage cyclists won't find at other stations.
  • Be seen on the mapsWe automatically publish public stations and their details to Mapy.com, OpenStreetMap and Google Maps, where cyclists plan their routes.
  • Your brand on the stationThe front panel can be printed with your logo and colours.

For towns

Cycling infrastructure that brings people to town

A charging station on the square, at the tourist office or by the pub gives cycle tourists a reason to stop. The town supports local businesses and completes the region's network of cycle routes.

Funding for cycling infrastructure is often available. Our funding team will help you find a suitable call and prepare the documents for the application.

Station network

Join more than 500 public stations

Every public station has its own page on the map with the address, connectors, opening hours and where to borrow a cable. We also publish the details automatically to Mapy.com, OpenStreetMap (used by many other maps and navigation apps) and Google Maps.

  • Found on Mapy.com, OpenStreetMap and Google Maps
  • A station page with your contact details

Operation

Simple for guests, carefree for you

Guests don't need their own charger. A cable with the right connector for their bike is enough.

  1. A cable set at reception

Get cables for the most common systems and lend them like a room key. Anyone with their own cable charges straight away.

  2. Magnetic connection

The magnetic EnergyBus connector to IEC holds by itself. There is no need to take the battery off the bike.

  3. Monitoring in the cloud

See which slots are charging, the station status and any fault. You can restrict access to guests only.

FAQ

What hoteliers and mayors ask us

Do guests have to bring their own charger?

No. The operator has a cable set for the most common bikes and lends it out. Guests with their own Powerbox cable charge without borrowing.

How long does charging take?

From 30 to 80% in about 40–60 minutes – during lunch or a visit. Five DC outputs deliver 4 A, one fast output 10 A.

Which bikes does the station charge?

Almost all common e-bikes: 14 connector types cover Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Panasonic, Rosenberger, HIGO and other systems. 24, 36 and 48 V.

Will the station last outdoors all season?

Yes. It is rated IP54 and built to resist weather and vandalism. Our stations have been running in public places for five years.

Can we offer charging to our guests only?

Yes. Set access in Powerbox.cloud, or simply decide who you lend a cable to.

On which maps will cyclists find us?

We automatically publish public stations and the details you enter in Powerbox.cloud (address, opening hours, contact) to Mapy.com, OpenStreetMap and Google Maps. Many other maps and cycling navigation apps take their data from OpenStreetMap. You update everything in one place.

Will you help a town with funding?

Yes. We will check which funding calls apply to you and prepare the technical description, budget and documents for the application. More about funding →

Can we pay for the station in instalments?

Yes. Hotels, campsites, restaurants and towns can lease the station through our partner GRENKE, with fixed payments over 12 to 48 months. Ask us about the terms in your country. How leasing works →
