POWERBOX.ONE = one stop solution for out-of-home charging all types of e-bikes/pedelecs for clients of restaurants, hotels, tourist information centers, municipalities and companies. 

E-bike chargers cannot be used outdoors, they are designed for indoor use only.

The charger cannot be locked to the bike, therefore it cannot be left unattended, if stolen the new charger price ranges from 60 to 180 EUR!

Electric bicycle owners do not want to carry chargers on a trip. They will appreciate the possibility of recharging their battery.

offers charging for up to 8 e-bikes at once

The power of each built-in charger is 3A (highest output voltage 42V), these are branded industrial chargers certified for use with pedelec batteries. Peak consumption with simultaneous charging of 4 pedelecs is 12A, Powerbox.ONE does not need any special protection (10A circuit breaker is sufficient, 16A is recommended).

Charging a battery with a capacity of 400Wh from 10% to 80% catapicty will take about 2 hours with Powerbox.ONE (but most of your customers will appreciate even a few tens of%).

Power consumption for electric bikes is negligible and the cost of the device is much lower than electric car chargers, so Powerbox.ONE has no charger system.

Powerbox.ONE is designed for outdoor installation, it can be permanently placed on the facade of the building or on a post with 230V supply. However, it can also be successfully installed in the interior (eg at the reception of the company).

Powerbox.ONE is equipped with separate fuses in case of short circuit on the cable or other problem.

Powerbox.ONE is certified by the Electrotechnical Testing Institute of the Czech Republic and each piece receives a numbered protocol on the safety of the equipment.

Powerbox.ONE includes 4 status LEDs for each charging slot to indicate the status of the charger (not plugged / charging / charged).

Powerbox.ONE has a system for remote management via mobile application (for Android or iOS systems). This allows the operator to remotely turn the Powerbox.ONE charging station off and on from anywhere - via his mobile phone and data connection.

In the application it is possible to set automatic switch-on and switch-off times of the charging station (or to have a real-time overview of the current and total electricity consumption for the selected period in real time if switching with this segment is installed). For correct remote management, a functional Wi-Fi connection is required at the Powerbox.ONE installation site.

WHY DO YOU CHARGE POWERBOX.ONE THROUGH CONNECTION CABLES?

  • Unfortunately, e-bikes do not yet have a standard for the charging connector (such as MicroUSB or USB-C for mobile phones). There are more than 40 different types of charging connectors for electric bikes in the world, with about 20 types in our country (Czechia), 8 of them represent about 90% of the market.
     
  • With your Powerbox Order you will get connection cables for the most common brands / types of electric bicycle batteries operated on the Czech market * (LeaderFox, Apache, Lectron, Crussis, Agogs, Lovelec, Giant and others). If there is a demand for some type of charging, you can easily buy only a particular cable with the right connector.
     
  • Your frequent customers (or clients or employees) can have their own cable for connecting their type of electric bike. Other customers can rent the cable temporarily (at the restaurant staff, at the reception, in the information center) - typically against a small refundable deposit.
     

  • Retail price of a separate cable with an adequate ending (depending on the type of specific electric bike) is 18 EUR incl. VAT. Cable can be ordered at e-shop.


(*) Due to the special communication interface between the charger and the battery, the Powerbox is not designed to charge Bosch and Shimano STePS central-powered electric bikes in its basic configuration. Charging for Bosch (special charger and cable) can be ordered for an extra charge of 175 EUR. Charging for the STePS system (special charger and cable) can be ordered for an additional charge of 155 EUR (incl. VAT).

The only comparable product in the EU market known to us is E-charging station POINT - TOWER T4B for 4 E-Bikes from the Austrian company BikeEnergy, but at a price higher than 7000,- EUR (7x more expensive and supplied without battery cables). This solution also does not provide charging cables / adapters for most types / brands of e-bikes.
